Is art beautiful? Is all beauty art? Does our culttural background influence our idea of beauty? Who decides whether or not art is good? Must suffering take place before art is created? I am currently reading "Mansfield Park", a novel by Jane Austen. Fanny Price is the neice of wealthy landowners in nineteenth century England. Fanny as the poor relation while never mistreated is not given the same consideration that her cousins are. More soon- I will post the plot as it unfolds | |||||||||||||||||
